A Word in Due Season

Word for Zimbabwe with a miracle

Here’s what went down:

This past Saturday I took the day alone to pray about a lot of things but mostly to just listen to what the Lord was wanting to say.  Just after I started He began to speak to me about Zimbabwe.

Here is what He said:  Zimbabwe- Isaiah 41: 17-20

17“The afflicted and needy are seeking (A)water, but there is none,
And their tongue is parched with thirst;
I, the LORD, (B)will answer them Myself,.
As the God of Israel I (C)will not forsake them.
18“I will open (D)rivers on the bare heights
And springs in the midst of the valleys;
I will make (E)the wilderness a pool of water
And the dry land fountains of water.
19“I will put the cedar in the wilderness,
The acacia and the (F)myrtle and the olive tree;
I will place the (G)juniper in the desert
Together with the box tree and the cypress,
20That (H)they may see and recognize,
And consider and gain insight as well,
That the (I)hand of the LORD has done this,
And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

The Lord will release clean water to them.  He is going to take down the corrupt government.  He will expose it to all the world, to shame and reject and remove.  He will let good men arise and doers of His will emerge.  He will replace the week, remove the timid, strike down the men who do nothing to advance His will, His justice, His righteousness.

“Everyone will see this miracle and understand that it is the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, who did it.”

That was the first part.  Then He said:  Isaiah 42:9

9 Everything I prophesied has come true,
and now I will prophesy again.
I will tell you the future before it happens.”

He said, “You see and understand what is right but refuse to act on it.”

Okay, so that was it that day for Zimbabwe.  I was thinking, “How in the world am I supposed to get this information to Zimbabwe.”

Then this morning, it’s now Tuesday,  I received an email from a Pastor in Uganda.  I get a lot of these types of emails asking me to come to speak and in reality they are asking for me to bring resources.  So I usually simply add them to my Newsletter list and delete them.  The one I got this morning though I read.  Not sure why.  In it this Pastor was saying the usual,”I am having a conference, blah blah..” but right in the middle of it he mentions that he knows, “Dale and Pearl”.  So I laugh and think who in the world is Dale and Pearl?  Not sure why but this sticks in my mind, so I Google it.  I found a ministry on the web with folks from WI who also experienced a physical healing named Dale and Pearl.  So I sent them an email asking them if they knew this Pastor.

They emailed back and said that they were headed to Uganda in a few weeks but did not know this Pastor and gave me their telephone number and asked me to phone them.  So I did.  When I asked them about their ministry in Uganda they said, “Oh we don’t have a ministry in Uganda but we do in ZIMBABWE”.  I say, “Oh oh. I have just received a word for Zimbabwe.”  They asked me to email it to them and they will be emailing me email addresses from Pastors in Zimbabwe.

Who would have thought on Saturday that by Tuesday I would be connected with people who have contacts in Zimbabwe?  God has ways of using us that we cannot comprehend.  he has miraculous ways.  And when He shows up with miracles the Bible says that those miracles confirm the word.  Amen.

Thoughts?

Weird thing happened during the Christmas season this year.  God kept speaking to me about this coffee shop on N just outside of Kimberly.  He kept telling me that he wanted me to go there, to bring people, to tell people about it, to go and speak to the owners, to help in any way that He shows me.  These thoughts kept coming to mind and then on Jan. 2 it got so crazy I broke down and drove over.  I met the owner and his name is Brian.  He’s a pretty cool guy.  I was worried about what to tell him if anything.  I mean what I am supposed to do, “Excuse me, yeah God told me to come here and help you.”  A bit uncomfortable.  So I made Bobby come with me and we went in and ordered hot chocolate because I don’t drink coffee and Bobby was fasting, ugh.  I was asking too many questions and felt that it was getting akward so I asked him if he could sit down and chat.  Bobby and I spoke to him for some time.  It was really encouraging.  I tried to come a crossed as normal as possible and told him that God was asking me to help him out.  He was really receptive.  I am stoked.  So, here is my pitch, God has asked me to ask you to go to that coffee shop.  How weird is that?  Hope to see you there.

Chocolate and Coffee

Great Lakes Coffee
